Description of Garden

Beautifully landscaped 13 acre gardens with wonderful views and many interesting features including the woodland garden in a Roman clay pit with ponds, moisture loving plants and wild flowers.

Old roses and herbaceous plants are featured in the pergola walk. The terrace garden specialises in later summer flowering perennials. New for the millennium was the Rill garden with traditional stone summerhouse and water features combined with unusual plants. The colour combinations in the whole garden are stunning, a plantsman's delight.

History Of Garden

The present owner, Mary Benger, has grown and sculpted this garden over the last 50 years.
