 Description of Garden
Designer:
Stansfield is an informal one acre plantsman's garden on alkaline soil, started in 1979 but now containing over 2,000 varieties. There are many different areas interlinked including a well maintained vegetable plot. The whole garden had to be rabbit proofed, and Alpines placed in sinks or troughs. This garden is surrounded by herbaceous borders, scree garden, an architectural border, damp garden and shade borders which all lead in to a small copse underplanted with spring bulbs, lilies and hellebores. There are usually plants for sale from the garden.
 History of Garden
This garden was designed by the owners, Mr and Mrs. Keeble.
