| A sloping garden of 1 1/2 acres with mixed herbaceous and shrub borders cut into the slopes. A wide variety of plants has been used to create different colour themes. Curving herbaceous border with interest throughout the seasons with an emphasis on form and texture. A sunken rose garden of some 200 roses mainly old shrub rose varieties but also species roses. Shaded stream-side walk, small orchard and a 1 acre wild flower meadow. |
