The rococo Milanese gates are particularly fine. There are some enjoyable woodland walks through an arboretum featuring some huge chesnuts and giant redwoods. The 18th century chapel is also worth visiting. History: The Parkland was laid out in the 17th and 18th centuries. Vernon Russell-Smith re-designed the former kitchen garden in the 1960's to create the lakeside gardens. The Hall dates from 1719.
