Description of Garden:
An unforgettable gardening experience combining beautiful Victorian gardens with the splendid Fountain Garden Conservatory, unique range of crafts and the amazing National Museum of Gardening.

The tranquil gardens and grounds feature a cascade, lake, grotto and pinetum, and the visitor can view the progress of major restoration projects. The site also contains Britain's largest and most comprehensive collection of antique tools, implements, memorabilia and ephemera, creatively displayed to illustrate how gardens and gardening influences most peoples' lives.


History: 
The history of these gardens dates back to 1246 when Randolphus de Trevano first gave the estate his name. It has been privately owned since then by a succession of noble families.

Now open throughout the year for the first time in 750 years.
