Description of Garden:
The garden which is filled with trees and flowering shrubs, lies in front of a fine 13th century manor house (with later additions). The garden descends from a formal terrace with yew hedges and topiary to a rose and herbaceous walled garden with lawns and gravelled paths. Lower down still is a lawn tennis court and rockery followed by a more informal semi-wild garden with many good specimens of trees and shrubs, including maples, magnolias and rhododendrons and with many spring bulbs. There are water features throughout as the pond at the top level feeds streams and pools lower down.
